Handling & FBO
These are the handling companies the airport lists for private and business aircraft. Handling is compulsory here, so you will need to use one.
See the full handling and FBO page, or download the directions PDF.
Operational Notes
Private-aviation lounge ('Delos') with direct apron access, separate from the commercial terminal; security, customs and immigration are done in the lounge. Use is mandatory for all private flights.
In summer a landing slot and parking permission are both required, and private slots are very limited. Aircraft may stay on the ground for a maximum of 40 minutes between 07:00 and 22:30 local (in force until 15 September in 2026), with no space to park private jets in peak season, so the aircraft normally drops passengers and flies to another airport such as Thessaloniki or Kavala until the return leg. Use of the private-aviation lounge is compulsory and charged at about EUR 2,000 plus VAT per passenger-carrying landing or take-off (EUR 4,000 for a round trip). Tow bars are needed for parking. Busiest from May to October.
